It's just SNOW beautiful

Haha! Yes that was a deliberate headline for my blog thanks to my journalist husband! Anyway I was told when I moved down to Dorset that the town I live in "Never gets snow"........eeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr I beg to differ my friend! If I'm not mistaken that white stuff falling from the sky, that stuff that is covering our county and causing mayhem all over the UK is actually SNOW-OMG! This myth is now well and truly debunked for sure!!

So it snowed quite a bit (by the standards of the south coast of England!) OK we know that it's barely anything in comparison to other countries. Anyway a week ago, we got 2 snow days which was great but after not being able to go anywhere, I did get a bit bored. So I tried to venture out, got about let's say 100 yards before nearly falling err flat on my errrrr.............derriere (slightly embarrassing!) I even had my old Cambodia trekking boots on which are meant to have loads of grip but I was still walking like Bambi!! Yet there were people in trainers not falling over, so I'm not sure what I was doing wrong!

This time I ventured out because I thought I might not get a chance to get any pics again as apparently this is quite rare!! Anyway another snow day tomorrow for me so I might attempt to go out again!
