Blogmas Day 13 : Wishing for a white Christmas
So this festive season I really wanted to have a white Christmas, however living in Dorset means that snow is going to be rare. Apparently it has snowed once or twice. I definitely miss living slightly north when it snows......oh well I will have to get my fix of snow in Scotland each year from now on-haha any excuse to book a holiday in the Highlands, Scotland. I am desperate to go and I can't imagine anything more heavenly than being in a lovely log cabin surrounded by snow with a roaring fire and a cup of tea, just watching the snow. That's the dream!
So in previous years living up north we had some snow so these pictures are from then and some pics of my old family garden and my mother's new garden. The family garden looks so magical in the snow-it glistens. We had such lovely trees and plants in our family garden with Acers, Silver Birches, Roses, Magnolias and so many others.
Icicle dangle looks so pretty, nature's baubles!
Stay tuned for a trip to Scotland in the near future for lots of snowy pictures buts here's some now to cheer up us snowless people on the south coast (crying face).
Beautiful tree arch and snow.
Me in my lovely coat all wrapped up because it was b****y freezing and having rubbish kidneys also made me feel soooooooo cold that it would literally make me cold to the bones.
View from the top of the hill, on our snowy walk.
Hubby walking through the snowy forest
We'll be on snow watch in Dorset, if anyone wants to do a snow exchange let me know haha!
